    Stopped by this location on the recommendation of my cousin. It is a no-Frills BBQ spot specializing tri-tip hoagies on french rolls. From the friendly greetings to the incredibly delicious sandwich. It is an experience. My tri-tip with Au-jus was absolute perfection and a flavor explosion.     This place is the best full service butcher shop in all of Ventura County. It also has a wonderful quality deli and supermarket inside and spectacular mesquite cooked tri tip sandwiches outside. I have no problem driving from Ventura to Simi Valley for high quality meats and a great lunch any day of the week.

    Having moved away from California, this is the place I miss the most. This is the best tritip sandwich I've ever had. Garlic bread buns with au jus will change your life. Service is excellent, and I love being able to sit outside eating a delicious sandwhich smelling the grill.

    What is not to like about a fresh tri tip sandwich on a crunchy bun with a variety of bbq sauces to try! Service outside always excellent while inside you can find an empty store, with plenty of employees but more interested in chatting together than helping the customer. Outside walk up counter cool atmosphere with the smell of bbq cooking and customers talking among one another
